FAQs

What is the street style trend in 2023? ›

The Y2K aesthetic is resurging in 2023, infusing millennium nostalgia with a contemporary spin. Think layered maxi skirts, retro-inspired sneakers, neon hues, and bold logos. DIY cropped shirts are all the rage too, appealing to both women and men; it's a trend that's as kind to your wallet as it is to the planet.

What's the style for fall 2023? ›

Much styling leaned minimalist, with high-quality takes on essentials—casual black leggings, white T-shirts, fall coats, cozy sweaters—arranged into pared-down ensembles you can wear to work, and will carry over seamlessly into winter.

What is the main fashion trend for 2023? ›

In 2023, instead of a fresh pant width or rise length, denim skirts took over the streets. With nostalgia for the indie era of the early aughts on the rise, it would've been easy to assume that the denim mini worn over opaque tights or cropped leggings would become the trend du jour.

What fashion trends are going out of style in 2023? ›

Business Insider asked four stylists to share which items to get rid of from your 2023 wardrobe. Clothes with oversized logos and shield sunglasses are both fading in popularity. Neons and pastel florals are being replaced by cooler, earthy shades.
