EARNING BONUS OFFERS:

How do I earn Sam’s Cash under the Program?

Once you have consented to participate in the Program and have linked an eligible payment card, you can earn Sam’s Cash when you complete qualifying activities for each offer, such as activating an offer and/or making a qualifying purchase at a participating merchant with your linked payment card. Some offers may be available only to certain Members and/or limited to specified payment cards. Any terms and conditions associated with a particular qualifying activity will be presented to you with the offer itself. Participating merchants, qualifying activities, and offers may change from time to time without notice.

Please see the Sam’s Cash Loyalty Rewards Terms and Conditions [see terms] for more information about how to earn Sam’s Cash.

Is there an earnings limit per transaction?

It depends. Please see the terms and conditions for each Offer for details on earning limits for each Offer, and the Sam’s Cash Bonus Offers Program Terms and Conditions [see terms] and the Sam’s Cash Loyalty Rewards Terms and Conditions [see terms] for details on earnings and balance limitations.

How much Sam’s Cash can I earn?

There is no limit on the amount of Sam’s Cash you can earn through the Sam’s Cash Bonus Offers Program, but please see the individual Offer terms and conditions for details on earning limits for each Offer, and the Sam’s Cash Bonus Offers Program Terms and Conditions [see terms] and the Sam’s Cash Loyalty Rewards Terms and Conditions [see terms]for details on earnings and balance limitations.

What does “earn 20% more as a plus member” mean?

All members can earn the amount listed on the Bonus Offers card. Plus members will see 20% more earnings in the earnings page.

Here’s an example of how Plus members earn 20% more:

  1. A Plus member activates the HBO annual subscription offer for 15%, the HBO annual subscription cost: $100 (price may vary)
  2. The member activates the HBO Max Annual Subscription Bonus Offers card, then purchases the subscription with their linked card.
  3. After the transaction has been completed, a member will see the earnings on their Bonus Offers earnings page: $100 x 15% = $15.
  4. As a Plus member, the member earns 20% more which is $15 x 20% = $3 for a total of $18 Sam’s Cash earned.

If I see a restaurant offer, can I earn Sam’s Cash through a delivery service?

No. If a third-party merchant, including a restaurant, makes an offer, you must purchase directly from the merchant in order to earn Sam’s Cash in connection with that offer. This means, without limitation, that a purchase that you make through a third-party delivery service (e.g., DoorDash, Grubhub, UberEats) will not qualify to earn Sam’s Cash for an offer from a restaurant.

Can I earn Sam’s Cash for purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store?

No. If a third-party merchant, including a service subscription provider, makes an offer, you must purchase directly from the merchant in order to earn Sam’s Cash in connection with that offer. This means that a purchase that you make through an App store (e.g., Apple’s App Store or the Google Play Store) will not qualify to earn Sam’s Cash for an offer from a third-party merchant, such as a service subscription provider.

Can I earn Sam’s Cash and rewards from other rewards program at the same time?

Unfortunately, not. We believe that our members will love the Bonus Offers platform and enjoy earning while shopping outside of the club. If you are currently registered for another program, you must unlink those cards from that program before using them on Bonus Offers.

A member may receive an email stating they are not eligible to receive rewards. If this describes your situation, please do the following:

  1. Check to make sure you do not have the same cards linked to a different rewards program (if you made a purchase at this time and were under a different rewards program, unlink your card to earn on future purchases)
  2. If you do not have your cards linked to other rewards program, please contact us.

Are any transactions excluded from earning Sam’s Cash?

Yes. If the payment card network associated with your linked payment card (i.e., Visa, Mastercard, American Express) is unable to monitor a particular transaction made with your payment card, then the transaction is not eligible to earn Sam’s Cash. Ineligible transactions include, for example, PIN-based purchases, purchases you initiate through identification technology that substitutes for a PIN, payments made through other payment methods (such as a digital wallet or a third-party payment app, where you use your linked payment card as a funding source but do not present your card directly to the merchant), payments of existing balances, balance transfers, and transactions that are not processed or submitted through the payment card network payment systems.

If a third-party merchant makes an offer, you must purchase directly from the merchant in order to earn Sam’s Cash in connection with that offer. This means, for example, that if you make the purchase through an App store or third-party delivery service, you will not qualify to earn Sam’s Cash for that offer.

If Sam’s Club determines that applicable law prohibits or restricts a particular offer, or if Sam’s Club determines in its discretion that a particular offer is otherwise inappropriate or ineligible, Sam’s Club may, in its discretion, withdraw such offer, not award Sam’s Cash in connection with such offer, and/or deduct from your account Sam’s Cash already awarded in connection with such offer, all without liability to you.

LINKING CARDS FOR BONUS OFFERS:

Why do I need to link a payment card to participate in the Program?

By linking a payment card, we are able to track your transactions with participating third-party merchants. We do this in association with Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. After the qualifying transaction occurs, the card provider notifies us of the purchase amount so that we can appropriately award you Sam’s Cash.

Which cards can be linked to the Program to earn Sam’s Cash?

Most Visa, Mastercard, and American Express cards are eligible for participation in the Program, and eligible cards may change from time to time without notice.

However, the following cards are not eligible: Corporate cards and Purchasing cards from Visa, Mastercard, and American Express; non-reloadable prepaid cards; government-administered prepaid cards (including EBT cards); healthcare cards, including Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account or insurance prepaid cards; Visa Buxx; and Visa-, Mastercard-, and American Express-branded cards whose transactions are not processed through the Visa U.S.A. payment system, Mastercard payment system, or American Express payment system.

Figg, Inc. (“Figg”) helps Sam’s Club to operate the Sam’s Cash Bonus Offers Program. Each of your linked payment cards may be linked in only one program operated by Figg. This means that if you have already linked a particular card in a separate program operated by Figg, you will not be able to link that card in the Sam’s Cash Bonus Offers Program, unless you unlink it in the other program before linking it in the Sam’s Cash Bonus Offers Program. You may also link a different eligible payment card in the Sam’s Cash Bonus Offers Program.

Can I link a debit card to earn Sam’s Cash?

Yes, you may link as many eligible Mastercard, Visa, or American Express cards to the Bonus Offers Program to earn Sam’ Cash.

Note: The cards must be used as a credit transaction and must be linked prior to making a purchase. Eligible cards must stay linked during the settlement period of 14 days.

Can I link more than one payment card to earn Sam’s Cash?

Yes. Once you have consented to participate in the Sam’s Cash Bonus Offers Program, you may add additional eligible payment cards to your Sam’s Club payment methods and link them to the Program.

What if my linked payment card becomes ineligible or expires?

If Visa, Mastercard, or American Express leaves the Program or decides that a particular card is no longer eligible, the card will immediately be ineligible to earn Sam’s Cash. If your linked card expires and is reissued with a different card number, it will become ineligible to earn Sam’s Cash. If your linked card expires and is reissued with the same card number, it will remain eligible to earn Sam’s Cash. At any time, you can add an eligible card to your Sam’s Club payment methods and then link it to the Program.

How do I change my linked payment card or unlink it the Program?

You can change your linked payment card in your account at SamsClub.com/BonusOffers.

To unlink a payment card from your Program account, go to SamsClub.com/BonusOffers, click on Your Cards, click on Unlink, and confirm, when prompted, that you want to unlink the card from your account. You must repeat this process for every card you want to unlink.

Have you recently switched to a new membership account?

Unlinking your card from an old account and attempting to transfer it to a new account will result in an error message. This is a security measure to protect your information. If you want to transfer your card to a different account and encounter this error message, please contact us and provide your old and new membership numbers []. Before transferring your cards to the new account, the Sam’s Cash balance earned in the old account may not be transferred to the new account.

If I unlink my payment cards from the Program, will I lose the Sam’s Cash I earned?

You will not lose earned Sam’s Cash solely because you decide to unlink your payment cards from the Sam’s Cash Bonus Offers Program. Please see the Sam’s Cash Bonus Offers Program Terms and Conditions [see terms] and Sam’s Cash Loyalty Rewards Terms and Conditions [see terms] to learn when earned Sam’s Cash may be forfeited.
